OTHELLO SHELTER
Since opening our temporary shelter in Othello, we have been receiving almost triple the requests from people to take in their pets. Though we say it to people over the phone, we haven't necessarily shared the word on our social media.
ATTENTION ALL
At this time, we are only able to take in dogs from Othello Animal Control. We are in the process of building a new shelter at which time we will be able and willing to take in owner surrenders. As of right now, to be able to provide proper care to the dogs we already have and to always keep space available for the animal control dogs, we don't have enough space to take in owner surrenders.
FOR CATS
There is no contract for cats in Othello, therefore kitties are not included in our temporary shelter. We try our best to take in as many kitties as we can, though because our shelter is not set up for cats at all at this moment, it is 100% foster based. As soon as a foster opens up, we will accept another cat.
DOG FOSTERS
Our foster homes for dogs at the moment are busy taking in dogs we get in the shelter.
